Teenagers Jump Fence to Swim at City Pool, Get Charged with Misdemeanors


A 1-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon after a possible needle exposure, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department. The child is currently listed in critical condition at Oishei Children's Hospital.


Police responded to a rescue call on the 400 block of Busti Avenue on the Lower West Side of the city at approximately 3:15pm on Friday. Officers arrived at the scene where they discovered that the infant had potentially been exposed to a needle.



The exact circumstances surrounding the incident have not been disclosed, and the police are actively investigating the matter. The health and well-being of the child are of utmost concern and medical professionals are working diligently to provide the necessary care and treatment.
