13-year-old Shot As Gunfire Erupted Overnight

A 13-year-old boy was shot during an overnight incident that occurred in Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood. According to the Buffalo Police Department, the incident took place early Sunday morning when the young victim was struck by gunfire.

Officers swiftly responded to the distress call, which came in just before 2am. It was reported that the male victim had arrived at Buffalo General Hospital in a civilian vehicle after being shot in the vicinity of Main and High Streets. The severity of the injuries prompted the immediate transfer of the teenager by ambulance to Oishei Children's Hospital where he underwent surgery, as confirmed by authorities.
