54-year-old Woman Ejected from Vehicle and Killed in Crash Involving 15-year-old Driver

Cheektowaga Police say a woman was killed late Thursday night after being ejected from her vehicle during a two-car collision that involved juvenile drivers.

The crash happened at about 11:30pm along Union Road near the Route 33 off-ramp. Investigators reported that the 54-year-old victim was thrown from her vehicle. Despite emergency crews’ attempts to save her life she was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to officials, two 15-year-olds were in the other vehicle involved in the crash. Police said the driver was a male and both teens remained at the scene after the impact.

The cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
