Alana Bruning from Niagara County Arrested on Felony Drug Charges

Niagara County Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced on Thursday, October 2nd that a Lockport woman had been taken into custody following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force.
According to the sheriff’s office, Alana M. Bruning, 20-years-old, of Lockport, was arrested after investigators determined she was in possession of a significant quantity of controlled substances. Bruning now faces several felony charges, including:
-Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the 3rd degree
-One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree
-One count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree
The sheriff's office did not release details on the substances involved. Sheriff Filicetti credited the Niagara County Drug Task Force with carrying out the investigation that led to the charges.
Bruning was booked and processed at the Niagara County Jail following her arrest and was held pending arraignment.
