Armed Robbery at Niagara Falls 7-Eleven Leads to Arrest in Under 5 Minutes

Niagara Falls Police respond to 7 eleven for a crime

LISTEN TO POLICE AUDIO BELOW: Law enforcement received a call around 8:38am on April 28th after reports of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on the 2700 block of Niagara Street in Niagara Falls.

The 911 caller said that a black male threatened a store clerk at knife point before fleeing the store on foot north down a nearby alley. It was deemed an attempted robbery.

Multiple units responded to the scene, one of which saw a male matching the description of the suspect around 22nd and Walnut Avenue. Officers then yelled “stop!” The suspect did not. An officer relayed over the radio, “one suspect at gunpoint he’s not listening to me . . . he’s starting north[bound] on 21st.”

Officers said that he was cutting through yards saying that he was grabbing at his waistband. Officers were yelling as they ran to apprehend the suspect. He was quickly apprehended and placed in custody at 621 20th Street.  No further information is available at this time.
