AUDIO: Family Worried for Niagara Falls Man Who Wants to Die by Cop

Law enforcement received a call around 11:55pm on November 19th after reports of a check the welfare for a male who made suicidal threats and was currently in the area of 20th and Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.

The 911 caller stated that the male left his home on Weston Avenue making threats to harm himself. He said he was going to "end it."

The caller further stated a family member recently committed suicide. There is also an officer safety issue for this subject as he has made comments in the past that he wishes to die by cop, which occurred two years ago.

Police responded to the scene. The result of the call is unknown.
