AUDIO: Prisoner at Niagara Falls Jail Attempts to Suffocate Themselves

Niagara Falls Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to Police Headquarters at 1925 Main Street around 4pm on October 31st after reports that a prisoner attempted self-harm.
According to police audio, the prisoner attempted to commit suicide by suffocating themselves.
It is unknown if the prisoner was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for medical and/or mental health treatment.
No further information is available at this time.
