Bicyclist in Critical Condition After Hit-and-run in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police Continue Investigation into 9th Street Murder


On August 30, 2024, at approximately 8:38 pm, Niagara Falls Police responded to a call of a bicyclist down in the road at 22nd St. and Willow Ave. At the scene, officers discovered a 43-year-old Niagara Falls man with serious injuries.



It appears the bicyclist was traveling south on 22nd St. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Willow Ave. The striking vehicle fled the scene without stopping.


The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where he is currently in critical but stable condition.
