Bruising and Bloody Fight at Tops Sends One to Hospital

Niagara Falls Police responded to Tops Friendly Markets on the 1000 block of Portage Road around 9pm on January 29th after reports of a fight. Dispatch advised officers that the parties were separated after the security guard pepper sprayed both of them.
Upon arrival, officers observed male #1 on the ground holding his face and male #2 further down the aisle holding his face as well.
The security guard spoke to police and stated that male #1 started charging at male #2 in an aggressive manner. Male #2 then pulled out a pocketknife to defend himself. The security guard yelled for male #2 to drop the knife, which he did.
Both male #1 and #2 started fighting. During the altercation, both parties were struck several times, including in the face, sustaining injuries. Male #1 declined medical treatment, but male #2 was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment via ambulance.
The police incident report did not note any arrests regarding the incident. No further information is available at this time.

What are the people in that area, especially the ones who don't have cars, going to do when they close down that store?? Tops stays there more as a public service than anything but since these morons keep making it more and more dangerous to shop there, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they pack up and leave
