Elderly Niagara Falls Woman Victim of Purse Snatching

On Sunday, April 15th,  Niagara Falls Police received a walk-in complaint from an elderly woman who reported a purse snatching.

According to the complainant, she was walking when she was approached by a male. The male then grabbed her purse, which was resting on her walker with the straps wrapped around her arm, and began running away. He continued running until getting into an old vehicle and driving away.

The purse contained a NYS ID, $500 in cash, and other personal items.
