Employee Fired from Niagara Falls Home Depot After Repeatedly Stealing Cash from Registers

Niagara Falls Police responded to Home Depot at 750 Builders Way around 12pm on July 25th after reports of a larceny.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the District Manager who stated that an employee, Christina Phillip, stole $350 between July 8th – 19th out of cash registers.

He noted that Phillips had never been given permission to take money out of the registers.

Phillips was taken into custody at Home Depot and placed into the rear of a marked patrol vehicle.

She was transported to police headquarters for booking and processing.

Police received multiple photos of Phillips taking money out of cash registers along with a statement from Phillips admitting she took the money.

She was fired from Home Depot. It was not reported whether any cash taken by Phillips was recovered.

No further information is available at this time.
