Federal authorities carried out a series of coordinated raids Tuesday across Lockport and parts of the greater Buffalo region resulting in the seizure of illegal narcotics and firearms.
According to the FBI’s Buffalo field office, agents served multiple court-authorized search warrants as part of an active and ongoing investigation. Though specific details were limited, officials confirmed that both drugs and guns were recovered during the operation.
The searches were conducted at several residential addresses and one storage facility. Locations targeted in the enforcement action include:
-50, 56, and 58 Locust Street, Lockport
-6032 Old Beattie Road, Lockport
-7016 Academy Lane, Lockport
-110 Cascade Drive, Amherst
-6 Wildwood Place, Buffalo
-118 Chestnut Street, Lockport
-122 Chestnut Street, Lockport
-115 Harvey Avenue, Lockport
-Storage unit at 6104 S. Transit Road
The FBI has not yet disclosed whether any arrests have been made and names of individuals connected to the investigation have not been released. Officials say more information will be provided as the case develops.
Authorities from multiple local and state agencies supported the operation including the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
