Female Changes Mind About Buying Neighbor's Dog After it Attacked Her Face

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1000 block of Cleveland Avenue around 10:00pm on May 22nd after reports that a neighbor's dog attacked a female.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated she was in the process of buying a dog from her neighbor. She brought the animal up to her apartment to see how the dog was. While she had the dog there, it bit her in the face multiple times.
Officers could see she had a gash under her right eye and a small gash under her left eye. The complainant was treated by NFFD and AMR on scene and stated she would go to a hospital later.
The dog was a female adult Pitbull and lab mix. It is unknown if the animal will be put down as a result of this incident.
