House Burglarized While Victim Goes to Niagara County Social Services

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 600 block of Chilton Avenue for a larceny around 10pm on July 23rd after reports of a larceny.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who states his Apple TV, Michael Kohrs wallet, $60 cash and buprenorphine were missing.
The value of all items is approx. $295.
The victim left his residence around 12:30pm to go to the Niagara County Department of Social Services on 10th Street. During that time, there was an individual was left at the residence doing work on the front door.
Officers then spoke to the repairman who said he briefly left the residence to get a part for the door around 2:30pm to 3pm. In that half hour, the residence was essentially left unlocked. After the work was done, he left the residence.
The victim then returned home to find the above-referenced items missing. He does not have security cameras.
No signs of forced entry were observed.
There are no suspects.
