Male Avoids Paying Back Roommate by Having Him Arrested for Assault

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 600 block of Elmwood Avenue around 6:00pm on May 28th after reports of a roommate who wanted to 'rumble' over monies owed to him.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that he had gotten into an argument with his roommate. The argument was over money owed by the complainant to the roommate.

While arguing, the roommate got into the complainant’s face and started telling him he was going to “beat his ass” and “slap the shit out of him.”

The complainant then said his roommate pushed him into a grill outside on the porch. It was at this point the complainant stated he “feared for his life.” The complainant told police he wished to press charges and requested an order of protection.
