Man Admits Guilt in Sex Trafficking Minor to Pennsylvania

A 28-year-old man from Buffalo, Adrian Petty, pleaded guilty to charges related to the transportation of a minor for the purpose of engaging in sex trafficking. The plea was announced by the U.S. Attorney’s office on Thursday.

The case dates back to September of 2020 when Petty transported a minor victim, whom he had met through Facebook, from New York to Pennsylvania to facilitate commercial sex acts. In addition to the transportation charge, Petty also confessed to advertising the minor online for sexual services.

Petty pleaded guilty to interstate travel for purposes of prostitution. He faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. He is scheduled for sentencing on March 5th.
