Man Dies in Early Morning Motorcycle Crash


A 26-year-old man from Jamestown died Sunday morning after a motorcycle accident involving a collision with a telephone pole, local authorities confirmed.


Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Buffalo Street and Beechview Avenue shortly before 8am following a report of a single-vehicle crash.



According to police, the motorcyclist, identified as Kyle Pitts, veered off the road and struck a telephone pole.


Pitts was rushed to UPMC Chautauqua where he later succumbed to his injuries.



The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.


Police have not released any additional information at this time.
