Law enforcement received a call around 10pm on November 18th after reports of a hostage situation on Hyde Park Boulevard in Niagara Falls.
The 911 caller - a third party - stated that a mother and her young daughter are being held hostage at knifepoint a male.
A heavy police presence responded to the scene. It is unknown if the male was apprehended.
