Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2000 block of 18th Street around 5:30pm on Thursday, April 25th after an alleged burglar that left a woman’s home in disarray.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated she arrived home and observed her front door open home to be turned upside down. Police observed furniture to be flipped over as well as all drawers throughout the home ripped out – even an exhaust fan in the complainant’s bedroom was destroyed.
The complainant stated she did have a Wyze camera in the kitchen, but it was not recording because the subscription wasn’t paid. Police observed the camera to be smashed as well.
Missing from the home was a white Playstation 5 valued at around $550. The complainant also suspects the burglar drank, or dumped out, the rest of a perfectly good bottle of wine.
