Niagara Falls' Home Improvement Thief is Back - Steals Weed Trimmer from Front Porch

Niagara Falls Police responded 1700 block of LaSalle Avenue around 2:40am on June 3rd after reports that a thief wearing ski mask went onto a resident's porch and took a weed trimmer.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that her brand new DeWalt weed trimmer was stolen. Her home camera system captured an unknown black male coming up to her front porch, grabbing the weed trimmer and leaving on foot. The suspect did not assist with any lawn maintenance on his way off the property (clearly not a helpful home improvement thief).

Officers observed the video and gave the following description of the suspect: a tall, medium-build black male wearing a ski mask.

The weed trimmer is worth approximately $150. No further information is available at this time.
