Niagara Falls Man tells Police 'I just shot my mother and sister'

Law enforcement received a call around 11:42pm on January 24th after reports of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 1100 block of 27th Street in Niagara Falls.

The 911 caller - who is also the shooter - called New York State Police and told them that he just shot his mother and sister. All units were called to the location in addition to medical. It was unknown at the time of the call the severity of injuries.

The suspect told police he shot his mother and sister intentionally.

Police responded to the scene. It is believed the male was taken into custody by police.
