Park Benches Unbolted, Damaged and Moved Under Gazebo in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to Gill Creek Park on May 13th around 11:00am after reports of park equipment damaged.

Upon arrival, police spoke with a member of the Department of Public Works who stated that someone broke off two benches in the park that were bolted to the concrete. Further, the benches were completely damaged and would need to be replaced.

Officers observed bolts in the concrete to be broken off and the two black park benches moved underneath a nearby gazebo. The total value of both benches are $1,100.00.
