Niagara Falls Police Investigate Stabbing Incident on 61st Street

A male suspect has been detained following a stabbing incident that occurred on 61st Street on Saturday night. Niagara Falls Police and Fire responded to the 100 block of 61st Street after reports of the assault around 5:15pm.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had already been taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital by private vehicle. Medical staff confirmed that the male victim sustained a stab wound to the back.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain unclear and an investigation is underway. Anyone with information is urged to contact Niagara Falls Police.
