North Tonawanda Awarded Over $800k in New York State Grants

North Tonawanda is a recipient of three New York State grants through the Consolidated Funding Application, Mayor Austin Tylec's announced.

1. Mayor's Park Fishing Pier and Kayak Dock: $30,000 in funding for a new kayak dock and fishing pier. These funds are coming from the Canal Corporation.

2. Memorial Pool Aquatic Facility at Payne Park: $750,000 to invest in a new modern facility to include a new lap pool, zero entry ADA pool, water slide, family slide, and pool house. These funds are from the NYS Parks Department.

3. Weatherbest Slip Redevelopment Study: $25,000 to conduct a feasability study to assess development options neat 50 Dock Street. These funds are from the NYS Parks Department.
