After years of inactivity, the long-anticipated renovation of Hotel Niagara in Downtown Niagara Falls appears set to resume.
Developer Ed Riley said he is in the final stages of negotiations with city, county, and state officials to relaunch construction at the landmark site located at 201 Rainbow Boulevard.
According to Riley, formal agreements involving financial support from Empire State Development and its subsidiary USA Niagara Development Corp., along with assistance from the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency, are expected to be finalized within the next three to five weeks.
The project, which has faced multiple delays over the years, could see new construction activity begin shortly once these arrangements are in place.

So yet another developer who is willing to do renovations somewhere in the Falls but needs money from the state, city and county plus tax breaks in order to do the work. Cut this guy off now. He's going to take the money and the work will not get done. HOW MANY TIMES do these idiot politicians have to go through this before they figure it out?? And / or how corrupt are ALL of them??
