Shoplifter's Attempt of Hiding Stolen Items in Storage Totes Fails

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walmart on July 26th around 8pm after reports of a female shoplifter attempting to steal over $500 worth of items.

Upon arrival, police observed a female detained in the asset protection office. The asset protection employee stated that he stopped the female after she exited the store passing all points of purchase with stolen merchandise.

He further told police that the female selected various merchandise and was concealing it in storage totes that she had selected. The merchandise, totaling $529, was recovered.

Officers placed the female into custody and transported her to police headquarters for booking and processing. She was released with an appearance ticket. No further information is available - Shoplifter's Attempt of Hiding Stolen Items in Storage Totes Fails.
