Shoplifter Shoves Items Into His Pants, Apprehended in Parking Lot

Niagara Falls Police were assigned to assist asset protection at Walmart on Military Road on June 6th. Around 3:30pm, officers were notified by asset protection that an unknown male was observed shoving items into his pants.

The male passed all points of purchase and exited the store through the garden section. Officers, along with several members of asset protection, confronted the male party in the parking lot before he was able to flee.

The male was taken into custody without incident. Officers were able to identify the male and he was issued an appearance ticket.

Additionally, the male was trespassed from Walmart and Sam’s Club. The items were recovered. It is unknown if they were returned to the shelf after being in the male’s pants.

No further information is available at this time.
