Shoplifter Threatens Target Employee: 'I am going to follow you home'

Niagara Falls Police responded to Target on Niagara Falls Boulevard around 7:30pm on June 1st after reports of a larceny.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to an employee who stated that a male selected $160.64 worth of merchandise and proceeded to pass all points of sale without rendering payment. He was apprehended by officers outside of the store.
The male was advised he was under arrest and would be trespassed from all Target locations.
After handcuffing, the male said to the Target employee, “I ain’t making threats, I am making a promise. I’m gonna follow you home.”
The employee, fearful for his physical safety, requested an order of protection.
The male was placed in the rear of a patrol vehicle and transported to police headquarters for booking and processing.
