Teenager in Critical Condition After Being Hit by Truck


A 15-year-old teenager is in critical condition following a collision with a truck on Tuesday night, as reported by the Town of Tonawanda Police Department.



The incident occurred at approximately 8:20pm at the intersection of Woodstock Avenue and Yorkshire Road. The teenager was riding a motorized bicycle when he was hit by a Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by a 44-year-old local resident.



Emergency services transported the boy to Oishei Children’s Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the truck is fully cooperating with authorities, and charges are not anticipated at this time.
