Thiefs Caught at Niagara Falls Walmart Despite Creative Scheme

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walmart on Military road on Friday, April 19th after reports of shoplifting where thiefs attempted to take almost $300 worth of merchandise.

Upon arrival, police soke with the less prevention staff who states that two suspects were removing the security devise from items and concealing them within the store. Loss prevention had video footage of the males taking two computer monitors and a hoodie sweatshirt (total value of $297.98) without paying for the items.
The surveillance footage also showed the following: Both males were dropped off by an unknown dark-colored sedan and enter the store. One male then exists the rear emergency exit with a cart containing the items. Once outside, the male takes the items out of. The shopping cart and carries them away out of frame. Ten minutes later, he returns and meets up with the second male and both parties leave together.
Both males were taken into custody and charged.
