Tragic Crash Claims the Life of 24-Year-Old Woman After Car Flips Over, Starts on Fire

A devastating crash on Creek Road near Lehigh Avenue in Batavia has resulted in the untimely death of a young woman, identified as 24-year-old Tanysha Thomas of Caledonia. The incident occurred on Saturday night.

According to the Batavia Police Department, authorities received a distress call just after 9:35pm on Saturday reporting a downed telephone pole in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered the wreckage of a white SUV which had collided with the pole and a tree before rolling over and catching fire. Tragically, Tanysha Thomas was the sole occupant of the vehicle and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation and authorities are working diligently to gather all the necessary information.
