Vehicle Crashes Into Local Business, Driver Thought He Hit the Brake


On August 16, 2024, The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received calls reporting that a vehicle had crashed into the building at WNY Urology located at 3850 Saunders Settlement Road in the Town of Cambria.


Patrol responded on scene to find a 2023 Ford Escape had crashed into the front of the building. The driver was interviewed, to which he stated that he was pulling into a parking spot, thought he had the depressed the brake, but the vehicle went forward.



There were no injuries to personnel inside the business, but the driver and passenger were transported to Lockport Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. The Town of Cambria Building Inspector also responded to assess the building.


There is no damage estimate available and the business did not have to cease operations - Vehicle Crashes Into Local Business, Driver Thought He Hit the Brake.
