Vehicle Hot-wired and Stolen in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 100 block of 13th Street around 9am on April 30th after reports of a stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated he parked his vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, on the 100 block of 13th Street around 12:15am. He was on his way to get gas when the vehicle stalled out.

The complainant left a black shirt in the driver’s side window and locked the vehicle. When he returned this morning, the vehicle was gone.

The complainant emphasized to police that he has the only key to the vehicle still with him. He gave no one permission to use the vehicle and believes it must have been hot-wired.

No further information is available at this time.
