On February 27, 2027, at approximately 11:30 am, Niagara Falls Police responded to the Courtyard by Marriott at 900 Buffalo Avenue to investigate a one vehicle accident.
A 61-year-old woman operating a 2015 Lexus apparently accidentally accelerated through the building and into the swimming pool. Hotel personnel assisted in the removal of the occupants from the vehicle.
The driver and her three-year-old passenger were evaluated by AMR and the Niagara Falls Fire Department. They were unharmed and did not require further medical attention. There was significant damage to the building, which was assessed by the City Inspectors.
