Violent Assault at Niagara Falls Wellnow Urgent Care Leaves Providers Injured

Upon arrival, police witnessed a female banging her hands on the glass and yelling at people inside of the building. The female began swearing and telling her side of the story but would not cooperate with officers when they asked her to refrain from doing so as there were other patients nearby that did appear alarmed by her behavior. The female was placed under arrest but resisted.

Officers went inside and spoke to employees who stated that the female was brought into the backroom for triage where she began asking if an x-ray technician was available. It was at this time the female became uncooperative and spit on a provider. The female stated she was going to “sue everyone” and was told by employees she had to leave.

While attempting to escort the female out into the lobby, she grabbed glasses off of a provider’s face and broke them in half. While getting closer to the door, the female began punching a provider in the back of the head numerous times and pulling her hair.

A male, later identified as the female’s husband, approached the exterior door and began punching a provider in the back of the head as well.

Husband and wife were both placed under arrest and orders of protection were requested.
