2-year-old Breaks Arm After Suspected Child Abuse in Niagara County


LISTEN TO POLICE AUDIO BELOW

Law enforcement received a call around 5:10pm on December 5th after reports of possible child abuse on Prospect Street in Lockport, Niagara County.


The 911 caller told dispatch that her 2-year-old niece broke her arm and believes that someone did so deliberately. She specifically said that the injury is believed to have been the result of a crime.


Prior to arrival, dispatch alerted responding officers that the child suffered a fractured arm.


Police responded to the scene. It is unknown if the suspect was still on scene at the time they arrived or if he was arrested.
