Girlfriend's Apartment Destroyed After Heated Argument with Boyfriend

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 700 block of 8th Street around 8:30pm after reports of an apartment being destroyed by the complainant's boyfriend.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the complainant who stated that she and her boyfriend had gotten into a heated argument the prior night. In order to avoid a physical confrontation, she left the apartment and did not return until the following day. When she entered the apartment, it was completely destroyed.

Officers observed two pieces of furniture to be flipped upside down and damaged, a bed frame damaged, two windows pushed out and damaged, and miscellaneous items thrown throughout the entire apartment in every room. The estimated damage of the aforementioned items is between $600 and $1,000.

The complainant believes that her boyfriend (likely now an x-boyfriend) was responsible for the damage. No further information is available.
