Kevin Bacon, Smash Mouth, and More: Batavia Downs Announces Rockin' Lineup

The 'Rockin the Downs' Concert Series at Batavia Downs next year will feature Smash Mouth, a guest appearance from Kevin Bacon and his sibling, and an assortment of tribute acts harking back to music from five or six decades ago.

Batavia Downs revealed the concert schedule on Monday morning, with tickets due to be available from Tuesday at 10 a.m. Here is the list of performers:

Smash Mouth will be performing on June 21, followed by Heart tribute band Barracuda on June 28. On July 5, the crowd will be treated to music by April Wine and Carl Dixon, who will perform songs from The Guess Who. Clay Walker will take the stage on July 12 and Peace Frog, a tribute band to The Doors, on July 19. The Bacon Brothers are slated to perform on July 26.

Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and Practically Petty, a Tom Petty tribute band, will perform on August 2. 38 Special is scheduled for August 9, and on August 16, music lovers will enjoy performances by Tommy DeCarlo and Jason Scheff who will be playing music from Chicago, as well as August Zadra performing songs from Styx.
