Tragedy struck Buffalo’s Elmwood Village early Saturday morning when a fire tore through part of a residence leaving a woman and her baby dead and sending a man to the hospital with critical injuries. City officials confirmed the Buffalo Fire Department received reports of the blaze at 428 Norwood Avenue around 8:35am.
