Niagara Falls Police Rescue Emaciated Dog: Owners in Custody for Assault, Animal Abuse

Niagara Falls Police were already responding to a call on the 5600 block of Frontier Avenue on May 2nd when dispatch was notified of an emaciated dog from animal abuse.

Officer Bower responded and observed the dog have pelvic bones protruding through skin and fur. The dog’s nails were curling and causing the dog to have difficulty walking.

Once inside, Officer Bower observed diapers and garbage scattered throughout the residence. The kitchen was in deplorable condition with garbage and dishes filling the sink.

There were no food or water bowls available to the dog. The animal was seized and transported to the Niagara Falls Animal Shelter.

The owners of the animal were already in custody for assault of police offers (click HERE for full story) and will likely face additional charges.

These people are completely useless and more than a little crazy and a danger to everything they come in contact with, obviously. I hope they get hit with some REAL jail time because they need to be taken out of society for a long time
