Niagara Falls Woman Locks Herself in Bathroom to Escape Schizophrenic with Knives

Law enforcement received a call around 9:07pm on February 28th after reports of a subject with a knife on the 3000 block of Monroe Avenue in Niagara Falls.

 

The caller texted into 911 saying that she was fearful for her life. The suspect was a white male described as 5’6” and 175 lbs. The caller then contacted dispatch again stating that she locked herself in the bathroom. The male was in the basement where, according to the woman, there are “several knives.” 


The woman referred to the male as having schizophrenia.


Police responded to the scene. It is unknown if the male was arrested.
