Shooting Victim Stumbles into Police Department Bleeding

Lockport Police is investigating an overnight shooting that occurred at a 7-Eleven convenience store on Park Avenue late Friday night. The incident was reported around 11:35pm.

According to police, a victim arrived at the police department with a gunshot wound seeking assistance. The Lockport Fire Department treated the individual before transporting him to a local hospital for further care. The condition of the victim has not been disclosed.

Law enforcement has started an investigation into the shooting. No additional details are known at this time. It is unknown if the victim is cooperating with the investigation.
