Shoplifter Escorted Out of Walmart, Threatens to Kill Employees

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walmart on Military Road around 2pm on July 17th after reports of a male shoplifter being escorted out of the store and then threatening to kill employees.

Upon arrival, police spoke to the loss prevention agent who stated a male who had previously shoplifted from the store had returned today. The loss prevention agent and other store employees were able to escort him outside while explaining he was not allowed in the store anymore.

The male became irate while outside and began to make threats toward employees. He first told the loss prevent agent “I will kill you when you leave work.” Then the threat was repeated toward other employees who had escorted him out of the store.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 50’s approx. 6 feet tall, thin build and grey hair. Employees advised officers that the male boarded public transportation with a destination in Downtown Niagara Falls. No further information is available.
