Steak Snatcher Caught Red-handed at Walmart, Attempted Heist Ends with Well-done Arrest

Niagara Falls Police responded to Walmart on Military Road around 7:30 on August 5th after a shoplifting incident.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the asset protection investigator who stated that a white male selected three packages of steaks totaling $79.09 and concealed the merchandise in a diaper bag. The male then proceeded to exit the store passing all points of purchase.

The male was approached by asset protection and held until police arrived. There would be no steak dinner for him tonight.

Officers placed the male into custody and transported him to police headquarters for booking and processing.
