Teenage Girl Stabbed and Killed by Brother in Buffalo


A violent incident in a North Buffalo neighborhood claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl Sunday afternoon. Her death prompted a homicide investigation which resulted in the arrest of her older brother.


Buffalo police responded to a home on the 200 block of Commonwealth Avenue around 1:30pm following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found the teenage victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her neck and shoulder. She was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.



Authorities identified the suspect as 24-year-old Nicholas Allen, the victim’s brother. He was taken into custody and is now facing charges of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.


The motive behind the attack has not yet been disclosed. The case remains under investigation.
