Niagara Falls Police responded to 500 block of Memorial Parkway around 11am on September 23rd after reports of a theft/larceny.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim and his social worker. The social worker explained to police that he is blind and lives by himself. His wife had just passed away and left some biohazards in the home that needed to be cleaned.
The landlords, CRDH Property Management, hired a company to do the work. The victim told police he had no idea of anyone’s identity and that they all spoke Spanish.
While cleaning, the suspects took multiple items including cloths, fans, a house phone, watches and a TV stand. Altogether, the stolen property is valued around $500.
No further information is available at this time. There are no known suspects.
