Vehicle of Deceased Man Given to his Brother Allegedly Stolen by Jealous Friend

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1100 block of Whitney Avenue in Niagara Falls on February 14th, 2024, after reports of a stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim who stated that he was advised by a neighbor that a truck picked up his red Taurus and drove away.

The victim's brother recently died and all of his belongings, in addition to the house he lived in, were passed down to him. He believes a jealous friend of his brother's took the vehicle.

An investigation is continuing.
