Walking from Florida, Buddhist Monks Make Long-awaited Arrival at Niagara Falls

A group of nearly a dozen Buddhist monks, who embarked on a journey from Key West, Florida have arrived at their ultimate destination in Niagara Falls, New York to raise awareness about achieving world peace!
The monks, representing different parts of the world, began their walk on March 31st and have been covering an average of 30 miles per day. The monks reached their final destination of Terrapin Point in Niagara Falls, USA on June 26th.
Having covered a distance of 2,000+ miles, the monks have traversed through several states including Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.
The monks chose to travel light, carrying only minimal clothing, blankets, and food. They relied on the kindness and generosity of the people they encounter along the way to offer support and assistance to help them make their way across America.
