Where to Watch Fireworks Across Western New York

As the summer season kicks into high gear and the 4th of July approaches, residents and visitors of Western New York can look forward to a dazzling array of fireworks displays throughout the region. From July 1st to July 7th, dozens of locations will host spectacular shows providing a visual spectacle for all to enjoy.

On July 1st, the Jamestown Tarp Skunks baseball game will be followed by a mesmerizing fireworks display, adding an extra touch of excitement to the evening. Meanwhile, Niagara Falls State Park will offer a breathtaking view of fireworks from Prospect Point, Terrapin Point, and Luna Island at 10pm.

The festivities continue on July 2nd, with another opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring fireworks at Niagara Falls State Park. The same viewing locations - Prospect Point, Terrapin Point, and Luna Island - will provide the perfect vantage points for spectators.

July 3rd promises to be a night filled with vibrant bursts of color and light. Akron's Veteran's Park, Batavia's Dwyer Stadium, Buffalo's Sahlen Field following a Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert, Cheektowaga's Town Park, East Aurora's Hamlin Park will all host fireworks displays, Town of Tonawanda at Kenney Park, and in Olcott at Krull Park. The evening will culminate with a stunning show at Niagara Falls State Park, where the fireworks can be viewed from Prospect Point, Terrapin Point, and Luna Island.

On July 4th, Independence Day celebrations will be in full swing across Western New York. Communities such as Andover, Bemus Point, Boston, Cassadaga Lakes, Chautauqua Lake, Darien Lake, Dunkirk, Elma, Lakewood, Lancaster (Village), Lewiston, Lockport, Mayville, Niagara Falls (Hyde Park at Dusk), Niagara Falls State Park, Orchard Park, Olean, Pendleton, Warsaw, and Wheatfield (Oppenheim Park) will all light up the night sky with their spectacular fireworks displays.

The excitement continues on July 5th, with the Marilla Fire Co., the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, and the Tonawandas (watch from Niawanda Park in Tonawanda, Gratwick Park in North Tonawanda, or Klimek's Veterans Park) hosting a fireworks show. Additionally, Niagara Falls State Park will once again offer a breathtaking display from Prospect Point, Terrapin Point, and Luna Island.


July 6th brings more opportunities to witness the magic of fireworks, with Colden's Town Park, the Town of Niagara's Veterans Memorial Park, and Niagara Falls State Park providing captivating displays.

The grand finale of the week-long fireworks extravaganza takes place on July 7th. Following a Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra concert, Ellicottville's Holiday Valley will light up the sky with a magnificent fireworks show. And once again, Niagara Falls State Park will offer a stunning display from Prospect Point, Terrapin Point, and Luna Island.
