Niagara Falls Police responded to the Red Coach Inn on Buffalo Avenue around 12am on October 12th after reports of a larceny.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she parked her vehicle in the rear of the Red Coach Inn around 11pm and ran in to get food. When she came out, she heard her car door close and observed a male quickly walking away.
Although she yelled at the male, he did not stop and fled in an unknown direction. She described him as being clean cut, not homeless, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. His race is unknown.
She advised officers that she did not lock her car as she was only inside of the Red Coach Inn for about 30 seconds.
Her purse was taken which included her passport, $500 in cash, credit cards and other misc. items.

That parking lot behind the Red Coach Inn is small, dark and isolated. I assume this person, or someone she knows, works there or I can't understand WHY she would park there, especially to pick up an order. Either way no one should ever leave their car doors unlocked at any time even for a few minutes, let alone leaving ANYTHING of value in it. This happens all the time and people keep being stupid
